Curcuma longa Well known drug which serves various purposes like anti-inflammatory, cholagogue, hepato-protective, blood-purifier, anti-oxidant, detoxifier and regenerator of liver tissue. It is also effective as anti-tumor, stomachic and carminative. It reduces high plasma cholesterol. Its anti-platelet activity offers protection to heart and vessels.
Aconitum heterophyllum Drug possesses immuno-stimulant properties. It is astringent, anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory in nature. It reduces irritability of stomach and abdominal pains.
Berberis aristata Bitter, cholagogue, stomachic, laxative, diaphoretic, anti-pyretic and anti-septic. It is also useful in nervous disorders and acts as a stimulant.
